Adhesive Systems’ Torque™ Series anaerobic adhesives represent the latest advancement in anaerobic adhesives. This new technology is engineered specifically to provide the fastest fixture and full cure times of any anaerobic available today. Our adhesives form a tough, durable resin that completely bonds metal parts thereby creating a unitized assembly that is completely resistant to shock, vibration, and extremely harsh environmental conditions.

Our anaerobic adhesives are single component, solvent-free adhesives that cure in the absence of air and in the presence with metal ions. Anaerobic adhesives remain liquid until isolated from oxygen in the presence of metal ions, such as iron or steel. For example, when an anaerobic adhesive is sealed between a nut and a bolt on a threaded assembly, it rapidly "cures" or hardens to form a tough cross-linked plastic. The liquid adhesives are designed for use in demanding applications to fill the spaces and surface irregularities between tightly mated thread orcylindrical parts thus eliminating the need for washers and gaskets.

These high-tech bonding agents in the Torque™ Series prevent against loosening from vibration, while locking and sealing threaded assemblies and metal parts. They can also be used on parts that have mild oil contamination present on the surface. They have excellent resistance to a wide range of chemicals such as hydraulic fluids, oils, fuels, water, and lubricants. In addition, the anaerobic resins are designed to handle both low and high-pressure applications.

Our adhesive products offer consistent strength on both active and inactive surfaces combined with higher torque and shear strength values.
